Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Forklift Operator where you will handle essential tasks such as receiving, picking, and maintaining inventory. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and cleanliness of our warehouse, while also becoming cross-trained across various departments. Responsibilities • Receive and check incoming parts for accuracy from vendors, update computer system, and place in appropriate warehouse location. • Pick part orders using an RF scanner and load orders onto production carts. • Participate in cycle counting and bin/space consolidation programs. • Maintain general cleanliness of inventory and warehouse facility. • Cross-train within the department and work in other departments as necessary. • Identify potential or repetitious errors and verify work to meet customer expectations. • Adhere to company handbook and departmental rules and regulations. • Maintain warehouse equipment and report any issues to supervisors. • Participate in company-sponsored activities and maintain a positive attitude. • Perform other duties as required. Essential Skills • 1 year experience with sit down or stand up forklifts. • Proficiency in packing, shipping, and receiving. • Experience with inventory management, picking, and material handling. • Ability to operate an RF scanner. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift certification is preferred. • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.90 - $20.90/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
