Job Title: Production Line Worker / Assembly AssociateJob DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling high-quality kitchen cabinets using air tools and hand tools on a production line. You will measure, trim, glue, and fit parts to create complete cabinet units, install hardware and finished products, and support general production tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Assemble kitchen cabinets using air tools and hand tools according to drawings and specifications. • Trim and glue joints, then fit parts together to form cabinet sections with precise alignment. • Assemble individual sections to form completed cabinets, ensuring quality and consistency. • Fit and install hinges, locks, catches, drawers, shelves, and other hardware components. • Install completed products as required and verify that they meet quality standards. • Use measuring tools, including tape measures and calipers, to perform accurate metric measurements. • Operate and handle production equipment such as staple guns, drills, hammers, spatulas, tweezers, and scan guns safely and efficiently. • Perform general production, packaging, and inspection tasks as needed to support workflow. • Lift, lower, push, pull, and carry materials and products within the specified weight ranges throughout the shift. • Read and understand drawings, labels, and work orders, including letter and number combinations. • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals in a fast-paced, often changing environment. • Assess and prioritize tasks to maintain efficiency and productivity on the production line. • Follow all instructions, safety procedures, and company policies consistently. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support manufacturing and assembly operations. Essential Skills • Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 40 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs as part of essential physical tasks. • Ability to perform metric measurements accurately using a tape measure and calipers. • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions consistently. • Ability to read and understand drawings, including dimensions and details. • Ability to recognize and identify letter and number combinations accurately. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, often changing production environment. • Ability to assess and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines. • Comfort with constant standing and occasional walking, bending, and twisting of the neck and waist. • Effective communication skills, including the ability to converse and hear instructions clearly. • Adequate vision for close work, distance viewing, color recognition, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with production, general labor, or general manufacturing work. • Background in assembly, particularly with woodwork or cabinetry, is beneficial. • Experience with hand tools and power tools, including drills, staple guns, and other woodworking tools. • Exposure to carpentry or woodworking environments. • Experience with packaging and inspection tasks in a production setting. • Comfort with heavy lifting within the specified weight ranges. • Familiarity with operating a forklift is a plus, where applicable training and certification are provided or required. Work EnvironmentThis position is based indoors in a manufacturing facility where the indoor temperature often reflects the outdoor weather, so it may feel as cold or as hot inside as it is outside. You will work in a fast-paced production area with constant standing and occasional walking, bending, and twisting. The role involves frequent lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing between 25 and 50 pounds, and occasional carrying up to 25 pounds. You will use tools and equipment such as staple guns, drills, hammers, spatulas, tweezers, and scan guns, along with measuring devices like tape measures and calipers. The environment requires clear communication, good hearing, and strong visual abilities to perform detailed assembly and inspection tasks safely and accurately. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
