Job Title: Packaging Line WorkerJob DescriptionAs a Packaging Line Worker, you will be responsible for hand packing bottles of products and pushing boxes through a taping machine. You will need to consistently lift 20 lbs throughout your shift and ensure that empty bottles are correctly dumped into the hopper at the front of the line.Responsibilities
• Hand pack bottles of product with care and precision. • Push boxes through a taping machine efficiently. • Consistently lift 20 lbs throughout the shift. • Dump empty bottles into the hopper at the front of the line. • Communicate with team via walkie-talkie to request more products when needed. • Utilize technology to identify pick areas to work on. • Communicate with the warehouse once the line is finished. • Carefully handle products to ensure quality standards are met. Essential Skills
• Order picking and packing experience. • Material handling skills. • Experience with hand packing and palletizing. • Inventory management skills. • Familiarity with RF scanners and pallet jacks. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members. • Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. • Proficiency in using technology to identify work areas. We have opportunities open on both first shift, from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, and second shift, from 3:15 pm to 2:00 am. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Ankeny, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
