Job Title: Avionics Test TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on testing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics instrumentation and electronic equipment to the component level within a certified repair station environment. The position is available across first, second, and third shifts, with all new hires initially training on first shift for approximately one to three months. You will work with both analog and digital circuitry, ensuring all work complies with FAR 145 repair station guidelines and procedures.Responsibilities

• Calibrate avionics instrumentation and IS&S equipment in accordance with established procedures and industry standards. • Troubleshoot and repair customer-owned units down to the component level across both analog and digital circuitry. • Perform detailed diagnostics on electronic systems using scopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters, and other related test equipment. • Follow FAR 145 repair station guidelines and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality workmanship. • Conduct testing of avionics and electronic circuits on the bench, including panel and PCB-level diagnostics and repairs. • Apply soldering skills to surface mount technology and through-hole components, ensuring reliable and precise connections. • Interpret and work from blueprints and electrical schematics to identify faults and perform accurate repairs. • Troubleshoot video and Ethernet circuitry, particularly in flat panel instruments and related display systems. • Use oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment to verify performance, identify issues, and confirm successful repairs. • Support assembly and testing activities for avionics electrical systems and related components as needed. • Document test results, repair actions, and inspection findings in accordance with internal quality and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with team members and inspection personnel to maintain quality standards throughout all phases of production and repair. Essential Skills

• Two (2) years of technical or equivalent education in electronics or a related field. • Five (5) years of experience in testing or maintaining electronic equipment. • Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic systems down to the component level. • Strong experience in electronics troubleshooting, including both analog and digital circuitry. • Experience with surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering techniques. • Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and electrical schematics. • Fluency in the use of electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, frequency counters, and related tools. • Experience in bench avionics testing and repair of avionics electrical systems. • Capability to test and troubleshoot electrical systems and circuits in a production or repair environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with video and Ethernet circuitry troubleshooting, particularly in flat panel instruments. • Experience working with major aerospace or electronics organizations is preferred. • Familiarity with PCB-level diagnostics and repair. • Experience with pneumatics in relation to electronic or avionics systems is beneficial. • Knowledge of testing circuits and panel assemblies in a production environment. • Comfort working with a range of test equipment and electrical systems in a quality-focused setting. • Open to candidates from non-aviation industries who possess a strong electrical and electronics troubleshooting experience. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Exton, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
