• Direct Hire Opportunity • $25.00-30.00 Per Hour • Competitive Company Benefits Job DescriptionThis role focuses on installing residential HVAC systems for customers primarily within Oakland County, with only occasional travel outside the area. You will complete 1–2 installations per day, working with a dedicated service van, and will install air conditioning units, furnaces, ductwork, and thermostats. You will educate homeowners on their new systems, handle payments upon completion of services, and follow all safety procedures while working both inside and outside customer homes. You will also mentor and guide a helper in the field.Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, ductwork, and thermostats for customers and clients. • Complete an average of 1–2 installation jobs per day while maintaining high quality and safety standards. • Perform both add-on/replacement (AOR) and new construction HVAC installations as required. • Discuss system options and educate residential customers on proper use, maintenance, and benefits of their HVAC equipment. • Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues, recommended fixes, and next steps, especially on AOR work, to help ease concerns and build trust. • Operate a company-provided service van to travel between job sites, ensuring safe driving and proper care of the vehicle. • Work both indoors and outdoors at customer properties, including in small crawl spaces and at heights, while following all safety procedures. • Use brazing, soldering, and welding techniques as needed for HVAC installations. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation of HVAC equipment. • Troubleshoot installation-related issues and ensure systems are functioning correctly before job completion. Essential Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential and/or light commercial HVAC installation experience. • EPA Certification, including experience with EPA universal practices. • Proficiency in brazing, soldering, and welding for HVAC applications. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints related to HVAC installations. • Hands-on experience with residential HVAC systems and components, including ductwork and thermostats. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items with assistance or appropriate devices. • Ability to carry and use ladders, work from heights, and operate in small crawl spaces. • Ability to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure systems are functioning properly. • Ownership and regular use of personal HVAC tools necessary for installation work. • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record suitable for operating a company vehicle Why Work Here?You will have the opportunity to drive a company-provided service van that you can take home, with vehicles regularly refreshed every 2–3 years through a leased fleet. The position requires frequent travel between job sites using a company vehicle, which you will drive daily. You will use standard HVAC tools and equipment, including brazing and soldering tools, and will operate in a variety of settings ranging from occupied homes to active construction and commercial sites. Safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment are emphasized throughout all work activities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Birmingham, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
