Mechanical Assembler Location: Minneapolis, MNPay: $20.50/hr + Overtime AvailableSchedule: 2nd Shift
• Monday - Thursday: 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM • Friday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM • Mandatory OT as needed on Fridays • Occasional Saturday OT Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Assembler to join a growing manufacturing team. This position involves assembling metal hatches and panels using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, preparing products for painting, packaging completed assemblies, and supporting multiple departments through cross-training opportunities.This is a great opportunity for candidates who are mechanically inclined, enjoy hands-on work, and are looking for long-term growth with a company that offers excellent benefits and profit-sharing opportunities. Responsibilities
• Assemble hatches and panels using hand and power tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures. • Read and interpret blueprints to complete assemblies accurately. • Install insulation and prepare panels for painting. • Hang panels on hooks for the paint process. • Package completed assemblies and prepare orders for shipment. • Verify parts and quantities for completed orders. • Cross-train in multiple departments and provide support as needed. • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly experience. • Experience using hand and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Ability to accurately read a tape measure. • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • High School Diploma or GED. Preferred:
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or mechanical environments. • Experience working with metal fabrication or assembly. • Strong attendance and reliability. Benefits Upon Hire
