About this role

Job Title: Installation TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Installation Technician plays a vital role in supporting the installation, assembly, cabling, and maintenance of equipment within semiconductor manufacturing facilities. This hands-on position requires a commitment to safety, mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to adhere to instructions and established installation procedures.Responsibilities

• Perform on-site equipment installation and maintenance according to team instructions and project requirements. • Install, route, secure, fold, and pull cables using basic cable-routing techniques. • Use basic hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and correctly. • Work safely and accurately in a fast-paced semiconductor FAB and cleanroom environment. • Follow company procedures, customer requirements, safety rules, and established construction practices. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, customers, and other project personnel. • Identify installation issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members. • Assist with shipping, receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of project materials and equipment as needed. • Operate aerial lifts when trained and authorized. • Perform other duties as assigned to support project execution and company operations. Essential Skills

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills. • Attention to safety, quality, integrity, and productivity. • Willingness and ability to wear cleanroom garments and required personal protective equipment. • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. • Ability to stand or walk for six or more hours per workday and climb stairs or ladders. • Ability to kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, push, pull, twist, bend, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. • Ability to work in areas with yellow lighting. • Ability to operate aerial lifts after completing the required training. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in semiconductor, equipment installation, construction, mechanical assembly, electrical cabling, low-voltage work, or a related technical environment. • Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment. • OSHA, aerial-lift, or other relevant safety training. • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Employees are required to wear cleanroom garments and a surgical mask during shifts. Protective footwear compliant with ASTM F2413, including safety toe and mid-cut boots covering the ankle, is necessary. Initial training of 2-3 weeks may be conducted in the office before starting work at TSMC. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
