About this role

Job DescriptionThe Production Technician operates manufacturing equipment, supports harvest and production activities, and assists with inspection and material handling in a warehouse/manufacturing environment. This role is primarily assigned to 2nd shift, with flexibility to work other shifts and some weekend hours as needed. The position focuses on safe and efficient machine operation, quality inspection, and, where required, forklift operation to support production demands.Responsibilities

• Operate production and harvest machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures. • Perform production-related tasks in a warehouse and manufacturing setting, supporting daily output goals. • Conduct basic inspection work to verify product quality and identify visible defects or issues. • Operate a sitting forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse when assigned. • Load, unload, and stage materials in designated areas to support continuous production flow. • Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures at all times. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and shift priorities. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including production lines and warehouse zones. • Adapt to varying shift start times and support all shifts as needed to meet operational requirements. • Participate in training for forklift operation and other production tasks when required. Essential Skills

• Experience working in a warehouse or production environment. • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts in a safe and controlled manner. • Comfort working with production and harvest machinery in a manufacturing setting. • Basic ability to perform inspection work and visually assess product quality. • Willingness and ability to work 2nd shift, with flexibility for other shifts and some weekend hours. • Capability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production guidelines. • Reliability in attendance and punctuality to support shift-based operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Current forklift certification is a strong plus, with training available for candidates who meet other requirements. • Prior experience in both production and warehouse roles is highly beneficial. • Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities. • Ability to learn new equipment and processes quickly through on-the-job training. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Napoleon, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
