Job Title: CNC Operator Level 1Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Level 1 CNC Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and overseeing CNC machines, ensuring that all components conform to specified standards. Responsibilities • Read and understand technical drawings. • Start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions. • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors. • Process offset changes without assistance. • Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. • Verify the conformance of completed work. • Operate Vertical Mills, Haas, and Brother Machines, managing multiple machines simultaneously. Essential Skills • 3-5+ years of Industrial Machine Operating experience. • Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. • Proficient in blueprint reading. • Ability to use vice grips to load parts. • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). • Proficient with calipers and micrometers. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Extensive machine shop and metalworking skills. • Ability to work with decimals and close tolerances (thousandths). • Capability to set up your own jobs and run the first part. • Ability to adjust programs if required. Work EnvironmentWork in a clean machine shop environment with flexible shift options. Train on the day shift, Monday through Thursday, from 6 am to 4:30 pm. Swing shift is available Monday through Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am with a 10% differential. Weekend shifts are Friday through Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, also with a 10% differential. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.70/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
