Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis Maintenance Technician position is a full-time, night-shift role (5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule. The technician plans and performs a wide range of duties to maintain, service, and repair plant machinery, electrical systems, and facilities. The role includes gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations, as well as troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Candidates should bring at least 3+ years of industry experience or a degree equivalent, with a strong electrical maintenance work history.Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance, service, and repair on plant machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment. • Carry out a normal range of gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations as needed. • Interpret wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and blueprints to support maintenance and repair activities. • Test and inspect pumps and associated devices to ensure proper operation and reliability. • Determine and trace the cause of equipment issues and perform effective troubleshooting to resolve problems. • Perform routine maintenance and service duties on plant machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. • Lubricate plant machinery and equipment according to established schedules and procedures. • Use quality measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances. • Conduct PLC troubleshooting to diagnose control system issues and support efficient operation of automated equipment. • Perform electrical troubleshooting on equipment and systems to identify faults and implement corrective actions. • Work safely and efficiently in a heavy industrial environment around copper and scrap materials. • Support the operation of more recently upgraded equipment in one of the facility buildings, ensuring optimal performance. • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to meeting safety and production goals. Essential Skills

• At least 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, or a degree equivalent. • Proven experience as a maintenance technician working with plant machinery and facility equipment. • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues. • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and blueprints accurately. • Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics in a maintenance setting. • Competence in testing and inspecting pumps and associated devices. • Ability to perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and service duties on industrial machinery. • Experience using quality measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. • Working knowledge of PLCs and the ability to perform basic PLC troubleshooting. • Experience with gas and arc welding, flame cutting, and fabrication operations. • Strong troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of mechanical and electrical problems. • Willingness and ability to work a 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. shift on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or technical certification in a related field (such as industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical technology) is strongly preferred. • Comfort working in a heavy industrial, dirty environment around copper and scrap materials. • Ability to adapt to working in different buildings, including areas with more recently upgraded equipment. • Attention to detail and accuracy when using measuring devices and interpreting technical documentation. • Commitment to safety and reliability in all maintenance activities. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex maintenance tasks. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and support production goals. The site includes two buildings, one of which houses more recently upgraded equipment and is the primary area for this position. The Maintenance Technician works a night shift from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule: work two days, off two days, work two days, off three days, then work two days and off two days. The environment is hands-on and equipment-intensive, involving plant machinery, electrical systems, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic components, PLC-controlled equipment, and welding and fabrication tools. Appropriate work attire and footwear suitable for an industrial setting are required, supported by the provided boot stipend. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Eminence, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $79560.00 - $79560.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Competitive benefits with pay increases.
