Job Title: Structures TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on performing aircraft structural upgrades with a primary emphasis on Wi‑Fi system installations and related modifications. You will use your hands-on structures maintenance experience and strong technical aptitude to complete installations, repairs, and modifications efficiently in a fast-paced aviation environment.Responsibilities
• Perform aircraft structural upgrades with a focus on Wi‑Fi system installations and modifications. • Install, modify, and repair aircraft structural components in accordance with technical specifications and procedures. • Carry out sheet metal installation, modification, and repair tasks on aircraft structures. • Inspect structural components to identify damage or defects and determine appropriate repair methods. • Use appropriate tools and equipment to complete structural work safely and efficiently in a hangar environment. • Follow all maintenance documentation, work instructions, and aviation standards while performing structural tasks. • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects on schedule. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installations, modifications, and repairs. Essential Skills
• Minimum of 2+ years of aircraft structures experience. • Proven experience with structural modifications and installations on aircraft. • Hands-on experience in structures maintenance within an aviation environment. • Proficiency in sheet metal installation, modification, and repair. • Ability to perform Wi‑Fi system-related structural installations and modifications. • Strong technical aptitude and mechanical skills. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hangar environment. • Attention to detail and adherence to aviation maintenance standards and procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience performing structural work on various aircraft types. • Familiarity with aircraft Wi‑Fi system integration from a structural perspective. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance documentation. • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other technicians. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
