Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role involves operating and supporting production lines in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. General Production Workers load and feed continuous strips of components through the line, monitor production processes and perform routine upkeep and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operation across all three shifts.Responsibilities
• Load and feed continuous strips of components into the electroplating production lines. • Monitor the production lines to ensure they are running properly and safely throughout the shift. • Start new reels of components when needed to maintain uninterrupted production. • Observe chemical and liquid reservoirs and replenish them when levels are low. • Clean out and refill reservoirs on a regular schedule, typically once a week or every other week. • Perform general upkeep and basic maintenance on the production lines as required. • Handle materials efficiently to support production activities. • Assist with assembly of small parts as needed. • Operate production machinery in accordance with safety and quality guidelines. • Support inventory and material handling tasks related to production. • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of provided personal protective equipment. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient operation. • Attention to detail to accurately monitor production lines. • Ability to perform general labor tasks in a production environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Comfort working on any of the three available shifts (7:00am–3:30pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, or 11:00pm–7:00am). • Willingness to perform inventory and material handling duties. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is very clean, comfortable, and climate controlled, supporting both safety and productivity. Production operations run on three shifts: 7:00am–3:30pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, and 11:00pm–7:00am. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandergrift, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
