Available Shifts 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AMShift Differential: Additional $1.00/hr for 2nd Shift Join a Skilled Precision Manufacturing Team We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing operation in Phoenix. This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy hands-on setup work, CNC programming, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality components in a clean, organized environment.Candidates should have at least 3 years of CNC machining experience, with additional experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing complex machine setups, editing programs, reading blueprints, and working independently with minimal supervision. What You'll Do ā Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for both simple and complex machining operationsā Generate, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software and Mastercamā Select, install, and replace tooling including inserts, drills, and end millsā Perform machine setups, workholding installation, zeroing, and tooling offset verificationā Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements and tolerancesā Troubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments using G-code and CNC controlsā Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipmentā Verify program modifications and ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specificationsā Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area following 5S principlesā Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production schedules and quality standards Qualifications Required
⢠High School Diploma or GED ⢠3+ years of CNC Machinist experience (more experience preferred) ⢠Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills ⢠Experience creating or editing CNC programs in a production environment ⢠Mastercam programming experience ⢠Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software ⢠Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings ⢠Understanding of cutting feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining practices ⢠Ability to read and modify G-code programs ⢠Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools ⢠Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Preferred
⢠Aerospace manufacturing or aerospace machining experience ⢠Additional inspection and quality control experience ⢠Experience working in high-precision manufacturing environments ⢠Familiarity with continuous improvement and 5S methodologies Why Join Us?
