Job Title: Warehouse ClerkJob DescriptionJoin an electropolishing company as a Warehouse Clerk, where you will play a crucial role in managing and moving inventory by hand. Your primary tasks will include loading and unloading trucks, inspecting parts, packing, sorting, and following packing orders. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory control, keeping the warehouse tidy, and assisting with manual movement of parts as needed. Responsibilities • Load and unload trucks to manage and move inventory by hand. • Inspect parts, pack, sort, and follow packing orders. • Repack and reinspect parts as necessary. • Assist with manual movement of parts when needed. • Maintain inventory control and keep the warehouse tidy. Essential Skills • 3+ years of warehouse experience. • Experience with receiving, unpacking, inspecting, repacking, and reinspecting parts. • Ability to load and unload parts by hand while supporting the forklift team. • Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes. • Strong inventory management and control skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to lift heavy objects. • Comfortable with long hours on feet in varying temperature environments. • High initiative and eagerness to learn about other departments. • Team player mentality. Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a small to medium-sized production facility that is clean but without air conditioning. The warehouse team consists of about 7 people, with plans to expand. Work attire includes covered shoes, a work shirt (provided), and jeans, with no hats or jewelry allowed. The day shift runs from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with optional Saturday overtime from 6:00 am to noon. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jersey Village, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
