Job Title: Machine Operator Technician (1st or 3rd Shift) ($24-26/hr.) Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality film products. The position offers opportunities to work on 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 3rd shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Training will be provided from 6 am to 6 pm. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible after interviewing. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today!Responsibilities
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments on extrusion equipment. • Operate extrusion machinery to produce film products according to specifications. • Read and follow work instructions, SOPs, and production documentation. • Use hand tools and power tools for equipment operation and maintenance tasks. • Operate tow motors, forklifts, and pallet jacks for material movement. • Perform material handling functions for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. • Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, finished products, and in-process materials. • Utilize measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, and drop gauges. • Perform testing and characterization of finished films including surface toughness evaluations. • Assist laboratory personnel with product testing and data collection. • Complete production and quality documentation, including data entry in Excel. • Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping of equipment and work areas. • Identify, document, and escalate defects or process deviations. • Follow all safety procedures while working around hot equipment and manufacturing processes. • Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds as needed. • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain an organized work environment. Essential Skills
• Previous extrusion operator experience. • Experience performing machine setups and changeovers. • Experience operating a tow motor and/or other material handling equipment. • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Outlook. • Experience utilizing hand and power tools. • Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and drop gauges. • Ability to perform basic math and measurements. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
