Welding Position - Up to 32/hr -ALL SHIFTS OPEN!! Overtime available MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD - LOCATED IN BATAVIA, OHResponsibilities
• Perform layout, fitting, and MIG welding on mild steel components used for steel enclosures and diesel fuel oil supply tanks. • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other technical documents to determine welding requirements and fabrication details. • Use a tape measure accurately to lay out materials, verify dimensions, and ensure parts meet specifications. • Set up and operate MIG welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner for production work. • Fabricate and assemble components according to engineering and production requirements. • Utilize basic hand and power tools to prepare, fit, and finish welded assemblies. • Follow quality standards and perform visual checks on welds to ensure structural integrity and proper appearance. • Work effectively in a manufacturing environment and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. • Successfully complete and pass a MIG weld pressure test as part of the qualification process. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of BATAVIA, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
