We are seeking a skilled Welder II to join our production team. In this role, you'll work on a variety of fabrication and welding projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.What You'll Do
• Perform MIG or TIG welding and fabrication work to AWS 3G/4G standards, including modifications, repairs, and production welding from blueprints and drawings. • Fabricate components from raw materials and use hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools to complete assemblies and rework projects. • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, specifications, and detailed work instructions to ensure quality workmanship. • Conduct self-inspections, maintain product quality standards, and troubleshoot complex welding and fabrication issues with minimal supervision. • Support continuous improvement initiatives, 5S practices, and lean manufacturing efforts to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, materials, and other departments to resolve production challenges and meet operational goals. • Maintain a clean, safe work environment while consistently meeting production and attendance expectations. Qualifications
• 5+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred. • Ability to pass AWS certification testing (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6, and D9.1) with practice time provided prior to testing. • Proficient in either MIG or TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. • Strong understanding of AWS welding symbols and blueprint reading. • Experience setting up, adjusting, and maintaining welding equipment. • Basic computer skills and a strong attention to detail. • Positive attitude, self-motivated work ethic, and excellent attendance history. • Willingness to rotate between welding areas, wear PPE including respirators, and work overtime as needed. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
