Concrete TechnicianLocation: Sioux Falls, SDPay: $22/hourHours: Monday- Friday, 8 am- 5:30 pmThis role works in an industrial manufacturing environment producing precast concrete box culverts for water and sanitary systems, as well as railroad crossing products that are shipped nationwide. As a key member of the production team, you will help safely and efficiently manufacture high-quality precast concrete products while maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area.Responsibilities:
• Strip and clean concrete forms and finished precast concrete products to prepare them for reuse or shipment. • Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete, ensuring they are clean, properly assembled, and set up according to specifications. • Use basic carpentry skills to build, adjust, or repair forms, molds, and related structures as needed. • Operate and use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in daily tasks. • Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools to meet production specifications. • Support concrete pouring and finishing activities to ensure products meet quality and dimensional standards. Essential Skills:
• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively in an industrial or construction environment. • Ability to operate basic power tools in a safe and controlled manner. • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for measurements and layout. • Knowledge of basic math and measurements to follow specifications and instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience working with concrete in a construction or manufacturing setting. • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or other skilled labor roles. • Basic carpentry experience, including working with forms, molds, or framing. • Comfort working with industrial equipment and tools in a production facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
