Job Title: Traveling Construction SuperintendentJob DescriptionThe Traveling Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the logistics of construction projects. This involves scheduling equipment, coordinating deliveries, managing contractors, and ensuring that materials are available to meet project deadlines. Responsibilities • Schedule equipment ordering with the supply chain. • Coordinate equipment delivery with the farm manager. • Coordinate contractor equipment installation. • Participate in pre-construction planning. • Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to the supervisor throughout the project. • Manage daily operations of sub-contract electricians and equipment installers. • Ensure appropriate materials are at the project site in a timely manner to meet project deadlines. • Resolve shipping schedules and conflicts with the supply chain manager. • Perform and complete final inspection documentation. • Provide communication with capital planning and construction manager. Essential Skills • Experience in construction supervision and as a construction superintendent. • Knowledge in commercial construction and subcontractor management. • Previous construction-related experience or education. • Understanding of general construction processes, accounting systems, construction phases, materials, and vendors. • High level of interpersonal skills for handling sensitive information. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience operating a company vehicle or regular mileage reimbursement. • Motor vehicle record (MVR) review required for employment offer. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Sleepy Eye, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $110000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
