Job Title: PackerJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, and light assembly. This role involves maintaining an accurate inventory and a clean, organized warehouse.Responsibilities
• Perform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading materials, picking, packing, and shipping orders, and utilizing handheld tools. • Complete accurate data entry using multiple computer systems and programs. • Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and forklifts. • Stock and move materials correctly throughout the warehouse. • Maintain accurate data inventory by assisting with cycle counts and physical inventory. • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Essential Skills
• 6+ months of warehouse experience. • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. • Experience with forklift, inventory, picking, packing, RF scanner, material handling, pallet jack, unloading, and shipping & receiving. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Any forklift operating experience is a plus. • Ability to use basic hand tools. • Experience in boxing and bagging is advantageous. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Janesville, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
