Job Title: Sanitation AssociateJob DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and organized individual with a knack for cleanliness to join our growing team. You will be required to gown up in a Tyvek suit and use a pressure washer to hose down equipment. Responsibilities • Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of our manufacturing equipment according to SQF and other certification requirements. • Perform cleaning duties including scrubbing and handling both small and large machine parts, storage containers, floors, and production or food contact surfaces. • Follow safety procedures when using chemicals and dilute cleaning agents appropriately. • Ensure proper disposal of garbage. • Maintain lunchroom and restroom facilities. • Perform all other duties as assigned. • Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s). Essential Skills • Experience in cleaning, sanitizing, and using pressure washers. • Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards. • Ability to handle janitorial duties and housekeeping in a food manufacturing environment. • Capability to dilute cleaning agents to specification. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
