About this role

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician (Weekend Shift)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a mechanically inclined Equipment Maintenance Technician who can proficiently use basic hand tools. A solid understanding of basic electronics is an advantage. The role involves troubleshooting laser systems, setting up jobs according to work schedules or priorities, and maintaining a safe environment for laser systems and the production area by adhering to equipment operating procedures. You will need to understand and maintain process documentation such as work instructions, drawings, travelers, and operating manuals. Regular reporting on operation status, schedule progress, and key assigned projects is required. The ideal candidate is a highly effective communicator of technical status and issues and enjoys a team-oriented approach.Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot laser systems as needed. • Set up jobs by following work schedules or priorities. • Maintain a safe condition for the laser systems and the production area by following equipment operating procedures. • Understand and maintain process documentation including work instructions, drawings, travelers, and operating manuals. • Regularly report on operation status, schedule progress, and key assigned projects. • Communicate technical status and issues effectively. • Support and enforce company goals and objectives, policies, and procedures. • Sat/Sun (5:45am-2:15pm) Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
