Job Title: Machine Operator Job DescriptionThis role operates blending and production equipment to safely handle, mix, and prepare chemical solutions that support gallon, drum, and bulk-filling operations in a large manufacturing facility. The position works as part of a blending team to ensure high-quality finished products, accurate documentation, and a clean, orderly work area. Multiple shifts are available, including daylight (7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.) and second shift (3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday, with regular overtime and Saturday work during busy seasons.Responsibilities

• Perform all chemical handling and blending activities for raw materials, slurries, and coolants to supply finished solutions to gallon-, drum-, and bulk-filling operations. • Blend products according to specifications and collaborate closely with the blending team to complete assigned blending tasks efficiently and on schedule. • Monitor blending quality throughout the process and take corrective action as needed to ensure products meet required standards. • Accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation, including batch sheets and production records. • Document chemical raw material usage and lot numbers on batch sheets to maintain full traceability of materials. • Receive bulk chemicals and raw materials from various delivery methods, including tanker trucks, rail cars, and barges. • Assist in investigations of out-of-specification materials by reviewing blending procedures, materials, and equipment conditions. • Maintain the blending area in an orderly, clean, and safe condition, following housekeeping standards and procedures. • Load bulk finished goods into tanker trucks as required, ensuring correct product, quantity, and safe transfer practices. • Perform a variety of material handling operations, including moving, staging, and storing raw materials and finished products. • Clean up and dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines, including cleaning spilled batch material and finished goods. • Inspect tanks and associated piping systems regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation, identifying areas of concern and reporting issues promptly. • Perform basic maintenance functions related to blending, mixing, compounding, and machine operation as assigned. • Operate production machinery and equipment used for mixing, compounding, blending, batching, and general machine operation. • Work as a production worker on the manufacturing line when needed, supporting overall production goals and schedules. Essential Skills

• Experience operating machines in a manufacturing or production environment. • Hands-on experience with batching, blending, or compounding processes in an industrial setting. • Ability to safely handle chemical raw materials, slurries, and coolants while following established procedures. • Strong attention to detail for monitoring product quality and accurately completing batch sheets and documentation. Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a large manufacturing facility that is cleaner than typical metal or steel-making environments, as work does not involve metal or steel production. Employees work around blending tanks, piping systems, and production machinery used for mixing, compounding, and batching chemical solutions. Work is performed on structured shifts with significant overtime: standard daylight hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., second shift runs 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., and the typical schedule for this role may be around 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m with some Saturday work during the busy season from October through February, averaging about 50 hours per week. Team members are expected to follow all safety rules, wear appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean, orderly work area in a fast-paced production setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ruffs Dale, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
