Job Title: Industrial PainterJob DescriptionJoin a growing manufacturing operation as an Industrial Painter responsible for finishing welded and fabricated rims using a standard spray gun system. You will work primarily in a dedicated paint booth and collaborate closely with a paint prep assistant to ensure high-quality finishes on all products.Responsibilities

• Paint finished rims after they have been welded and fabricated, using a standard spray gun in an industrial environment. • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment to produce consistent, high-quality finishes on metal rims. • Work closely with a paint prep assistant to coordinate surface preparation, masking, and staging of rims before painting. • Follow established painting procedures, including proper mixing, thinning, and application of coatings. • Use overhead cranes, rigging, or material handling equipment as needed to move rims safely in and out of the paint booth. • Inspect painted rims for quality, coverage, and finish, and perform touch-ups or rework when necessary. • Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment while working in the paint booth and on the production floor. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the paint booth and surrounding production space. • Work collaboratively with production and fabrication teams to meet daily output and quality targets. • Report equipment issues or material shortages promptly to ensure uninterrupted production. Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of industrial painting experience using a spray gun. • Hands-on experience with industrial painting processes in a manufacturing or production environment. • Ability to operate a standard spray gun painter and follow technical instructions for paint application. • Reliable transportation to and from the facility. • Experience working in industrial settings such as manufacturing plants or production floors. • Basic forklift experience or willingness to work around material handling equipment. • Ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment in a paint booth environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Rigging and overhead crane experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. • 3 or more years of painting experience, ideally in industrial or production environments. • Familiarity with electrostatic painting processes and equipment. • Comfort working in a large manufacturing facility with a high volume of employees. • Willingness to participate in in-house training and apprenticeship opportunities to advance skills. The role follows a day shift schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing a consistent work routine in a structured industrial setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Langley, BC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
