Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Forklift Operator on the 1st Shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. You will play a crucial role in moving products, ensuring materials are available for manufacturing, and managing inventory. Responsibilities • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes effectively. • Move products as dictated by the manufacturing system, daily work schedule, or associate requests. • Ensure direct materials are available for manufacturing and assembly of orders. • Manage inventory pulls and inventory management. • Unload and load materials onto trucks or other designated vehicles. • Practice proper rigging and lift techniques. • Organize the Receiving Department area and assist stock pullers. Essential Skills • Experience operating a forklift. • Ability to read work orders. • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Certified forklift operator. • Experience with reach truck, tow motor, stand-up forklift, and electric pallet jack. • Familiarity with RF scanner, SAP, and international shipping processes. • Experience in production, general labor, packaging, and parts inventory. Work EnvironmentWork in a clean and well-lit environment where you will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively. Occasionally, you may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Clinton, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
