Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a production team member responsible for driving a tugger and transporting materials to ensure the production line is consistently supplied. You will handle raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished goods, while maintaining packaging and dunnage to support a smooth workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role demands safe equipment operation, basic problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities • Drive a tugger to transport materials efficiently. • Supply the production line with necessary materials. • Manage and organize raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. • Maintain packaging and dunnage to ensure smooth workflow. • Operate equipment safely and effectively. • Communicate clearly with team members. • Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills • Experience in production and manufacturing. • Ability to operate computerized equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in high volume manufacturing within the automotive industry is preferred. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Morristown, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
