Quality Inspector Pay: Up to $40/hr | Direct Hire Location: Portland, OR Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing precision manufacturing company serving the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment, performing dimensional inspections on in-process and finished components, and ensuring products meet strict customer specifications and quality standards. • Set up, program, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect precision-machined components. • Perform in-process and final dimensional inspections to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. • Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings to determine inspection requirements. • Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other metrology tools. • Create, modify, and execute CMM inspection programs using Zeiss Calypso software. • Accurately document inspection results and report nonconforming conditions. • Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production personnel to identify and resolve quality-related issues. • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve inspection processes, efficiency, and repeatability. • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration procedures are followed. Required Qualifications

• Experience performing dimensional inspections in a manufacturing or production environment. • Hands-on experience setting up and operating CMM equipment. • CMM programming experience, with Zeiss Calypso proficiency highly preferred. • Experience operating Zeiss CMM systems and troubleshooting inspection programs. • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading. • Proficiency using precision measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. • High attention to detail with strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience inspecting precision-machined parts within the semiconductor, aerospace, or other high-tolerance manufacturing industries. • Familiarity with machine shop environments and manufacturing quality processes. • Experience inspecting aluminum, copper, and other precision-machined metal components. • Strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset. • Ability to collaborate effectively across quality, engineering, and production teams. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Wood Village, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $83200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Medical/Dental/Vision on the 1st of the month after 60 days on the job. 401k on next open enrollment after 4 months.
