Hiring General Labors – Trailer Refurbishment Join a fast‑growing operation focused on refurbishing and restoring construction trailers used as on‑site offices. As a General Laborer, you’ll work hands‑on with a variety of construction and shop tasks to ensure each trailer is clean, safe, and ready for its next job site. • Restore and refurbish construction trailers after they return to the shop, ensuring they’re ready for reuse • Perform a wide range of labor tasks including flooring installation, drywall repair, siding installation, caulking, and window installation • Assist with insulation, assembly, packaging, and general production tasks • Use hand tools and power tools safely for construction, carpentry, demolition, and repair work • Complete daily shop clean‑up: sweeping, trash removal, and maintaining an organized workspace • Put away tools and equipment at the end of tasks and shifts • Work on single tasks for extended periods (e.g., full days of flooring or siding) • Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training • Shadow experienced team members and work under a lead during training • Collaborate with a small team to efficiently turn over trailers • Lift and move materials weighing approximately 20–40 lbs regularly • Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced, growing shop environment Skills/Qualifications:
• Ability to perform general labor tasks including flooring, drywall, siding, caulking, window installation, cleaning, and tool organization • Comfort working on one type of task for an entire day when needed • Ability to lift 20–40 lbs consistently • Interest in general labor, construction, or similar physical roles • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures • Basic hand tool and power tool use (or willingness to learn) • Reliability, strong work ethic, and consistent teamwork • Openness to training for candidates from retail, warehouse, manufacturing, landscaping, or other entry‑level backgrounds • Ability to work effectively within a small team under a lead Why You’ll Love Working Here: You’ll join a growing operation where teamwork, accountability, and mutual support drive success. • Busy shop environment with approximately 25 employees • Smaller working groups of around 5, each led by a designated lead • Temperature varies depending on weather (hot or cold) • Hands‑on, physical work with regular use of hand tools and power tools • Consistent lifting of 20–40 lbs • Daytime, set schedules across departments • Required attire: steel‑toe footwear, jeans without holes, and an appropriate shirt • Culture emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and contributing fully to trailer turnover goals Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henderson, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
