DE and/or MD Journeyman License, or the ability to obtain a state electrical license as required.Job Description: Electrician leads commercial and industrial electrical projects from planning through completion, providing hands-on expertise while supervising electricians, apprentices, and helpers. This role oversees daily field operations, ensures high-quality installations, and maintains strict adherence to safety standards and project schedules. The Lead Electrician reads and interprets complex electrical drawings, installs and troubleshoots electrical systems, and plays a key role in mentoring less experienced team members to deliver best-in-class workmanship on new construction and tenant fit-out projects.Essential Skills
• Minimum 7+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience. • Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman, lead electrician, or supervisor. • DE and/or MD Journeyman License, or the ability to obtain a state electrical license as required. • Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams. • Participation in design-build electrical projects. • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. • Scissor lift and boom lift certifications preferred. Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor environments, often on active construction sites. The position requires regular lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in elevated areas. You will stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday and must be comfortable working at heights using scissor lifts and boom lifts when required. The role involves daily use of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and various lifting devices, all of which must be operated safely and in accordance with company and regulatory standards. A neat, professional appearance and adherence to site-specific safety and attire requirements are expected, along with reliable transportation to travel between job sites during standard construction hours. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Elkton, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93600.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Benefits:
