Job Title: Warehouse Associate This 2nd shift Warehouse Associate role supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and products within established guidelines. You will work under direct supervision to process customer and stock orders accurately, maintain organized inventory, and ensure products move efficiently through the facility from receiving to shipping.Responsibilities
• Generate manifests for dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders in accordance with established procedures. • Interpret warehouse documents to identify items that need to be moved, gathered, or distributed. • Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate items from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations. • Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part number and quantity. • Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a predetermined sequence or system. • Prepare products for distribution within the facility, ensuring items are properly staged and ready for the next process step. • Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets, shelves, or conveyors for transfer to packing or shipping areas. • Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products under direct supervision and within established guidelines. • Arrange stock parts in specified sequences to support assembly work performed by other team members. • Create and enter records for manifests into the warehouse computer system accurately and in a timely manner. • Follow all safety procedures while working around forklifts, hand carts, and other warehouse equipment. The facility operates in a non-climate-controlled setting, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. You will use RF scanners, warehouse computer systems, and standard material-handling equipment as part of daily tasks. Cell phones and personal electronics are not permitted in the warehouse to maintain safety and focus. Closed-toe shoes are required as part of the dress code, and you are expected to follow all safety guidelines while working on the 2nd shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
