Entry-Level HVAC Installer / Ductwork Technician Bridgton, ME | $20 - $28/hr | Contract-to-HireAs an Entry-Level HVAC Installer / Ductwork Technician, you'll work alongside experienced professionals installing HVAC equipment, ductwork, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial buildings. • Assist in the installation of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioning systems, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment. • Help assemble, install, and secure ductwork and sheet metal components according to project plans. • Learn HVAC installation, startup, troubleshooting, and service procedures under the guidance of experienced technicians. • Safely operate hand tools and power tools to cut, fit, and install system components. • Assist with basic electrical and mechanical connections as part of HVAC installations. • Support troubleshooting and repair activities while developing diagnostic skills. • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. • Follow all safety procedures and utilize proper PPE while working on active construction sites. • Work as part of a team to complete projects on schedule and deliver quality workmanship. • Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. • Dependable, hardworking, and motivated to build a career in the skilled trades. • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, rooftops, attics, crawlspaces, and other construction environments. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • High School Diploma or GED preferred. Bonus Qualifications While not required, the following experience is a plus:

• Construction, carpentry, sheet metal, maintenance, or mechanical experience. • HVAC trade school or vocational training. • OSHA 10 Certification. • Experience reading blueprints or installation drawings. • Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork, or sheet metal fabrication. • Interest in developing troubleshooting and repair skills. Work Environment This is a field-based position working on residential and commercial construction projects throughout the area. You'll install and service HVAC equipment, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related mechanical components.
