Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis hands-on position requires technical problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Responsibilities • Travel to customer locations across designated metro areas to perform service work. • Provide accurate and timely documentation, including monthly expense reports, daily service call reports, weekly tracking, and route completion reports. • Maintain detailed records of all service visits, noting technical issues and parts used. • Prioritize workload with manager to ensure an efficient, cost-effective preventative maintenance schedule. • Independently execute lock installation projects as assigned. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and customer issues with effective problem-solving skills. • Respond to emergency service calls as directed, which may occasionally occur nights, weekends, or holidays. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer personnel, representing the company professionally. • Provide customer training on products as needed. • Assist in other locations as required, based on business needs. • Work closely with management and clients. • Utilize quality systems and diagnose process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultra-Violet Oxidation, etc. • Perform inspections verifying the integrity of the equipment to ensure a continuous supply of ultrapure water. • Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures. • Perform media replacement and flushing activities to reach final UPW quality specification. • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment effectively. • Adhere to safe working requirements and site Health & Safety regulations at all times. Essential Skills • Technical aptitude in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, cellular/Bluetooth devices. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and driven to deliver results. • High school diploma or GED required. • 2-4 years of experience required. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Technical associate degree or equivalent degree/military experience. • Good knowledge in continuous processes. • Relevant experience in System Operations, Maintenance, Service, or similar. • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and good problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize a busy workload and flexibility to adjust to rapid changes in work conditions. • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills and ability to work well with others. • Capacity to take decisions and proactivity. • Good hands-on experience. • Good communication skills. Work EnvironmentThe role is based at a facility in Chandler, AZ. It involves working 12.25-hour shifts on a rotating schedule: 3 days on/3 days off and 4 days on/4 days off. The shifts are from 5:45 AM to 6:05 PM for the first shift and 5:45 PM to 6:05 AM for the third shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
