Job Title: Facilities Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The Maintenance Technician supports both manufacturing operations and office areas by performing preventive maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring equipment reliability and safety. This position works closely with production, engineering, and supervisory teams to keep all equipment operational and to support continuous improvement activities.Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot process and facilities-related equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues. • Perform repairs and adjustments on production machinery and facility systems to restore and maintain proper operation. • Assist with monthly preventive maintenance for all production and facilities equipment as requested. • Maintain and update office and administrative maintenance requests using SAP and Outlook. • Complete wiring installations and repairs, including installing outlets and fixtures, in accordance with safety standards. • Work safely with electrical systems ranging from 120 volts to 480 volts, using appropriate tools and safety practices. • Use a multimeter and other diagnostic tools to test circuits, components, and equipment performance. • Install, maintain, and repair motors, pumps, pneumatic equipment, and related components. • Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including drywall work, painting, plumbing, and basic construction-related repairs. • Carry out 5S activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. • Collaborate with managers, engineers, and departmental supervisors to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities and minimize equipment downtime. • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately in the designated systems. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with electrical and mechanical equipment. • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support facility and production operations. Essential Skills
• 2-4 years of facility and electrician experience, including hands-on work in an industrial or commercial environment. • Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. • Ability to work safely with electrical systems from 120 to 480 volts. • Proficiency with electrical wiring, including performing wiring installations and repairs. • Experience installing and repairing outlets, fixtures, and related electrical components. • Experience working with motors, pumps, and pneumatic equipment. • Ability to perform general facility maintenance, including drywall work, plumbing, and installations/repairs. • Proficiency in using a multimeter and other diagnostic tools for electrical testing and troubleshooting. • Ability to maintain and manage maintenance requests using systems such as SAP and Outlook. • Capability to perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment. • Strong attention to safety and adherence to established procedures. • Ability to work collaboratively with production, management, and maintenance teams. • Experience performing painting, drywall repair, and basic building maintenance tasks. • Experience inn facilities maintenance, including plumbing and general repairs. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs in a production or facility environment. • Experience supporting both office and production areas with maintenance needs. • Comfort working in a high-volume environment with shifting priorities. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple maintenance requests and tasks. • Willingness to perform 5S and continuous improvement activities on a regular basis. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
