Low Voltage Technician - MUST HAVE 1+ YEARS EXPERIENCE $22-$28/hour Position Overview Join a team building the backbone of next-generation technology infrastructure in one of the most advanced manufacturing environments in the country. We are seeking skilled Low Voltage Technicians who take pride in craftsmanship, safety, and quality. In this role, you will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot copper, fiber optic, and coaxial cabling systems while supporting critical technologies including network infrastructure, CCTV, access control, and life safety systems.This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, high-profile projects where precision matters, attention to detail is valued, and your work directly impacts the functionality of cutting-edge facilities. Key Responsibilities Structured Cabling & Infrastructure

• Perform complete IDF/MDF buildouts, including rack assembly, cabinet installation, equipment mounting, grounding, and cable management. • Install and secure network cabinets, ladder racks, cable trays, j-hooks, and other support systems in accordance with industry and project standards. • Pull, route, dress, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling through ceilings, walls, conduits, and structured pathways. • Terminate copper cabling to patch panels, keystones, and RJ45 connectors utilizing TIA/EIA 568B standards. • Pull, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cabling, including zip cord and backbone fiber systems. • Install, reroute, replace, and terminate coaxial systems including RG11 and other coaxial cable types. Testing & Quality Assurance

• Utilize Fluke test equipment and other industry-standard certification tools to verify cable performance and system integrity. • Conduct copper, fiber, and coaxial cable testing, troubleshooting, and certification. • Document test results, cable routes, labeling, and installation details according to project specifications. • Ensure all installations meet project requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations. Low Voltage Systems

• Install, configure, and support CCTV cameras, video surveillance systems, access control devices, and associated network equipment. • Assist with fire alarm, security, and life safety system installations when required. • Support device patching, equipment commissioning, and final system integration activities. Safety & Teamwork

• Work safely with hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and specialized installation equipment. • Strictly follow OSHA regulations, site-specific safety requirements, and company policies. • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area at all times. • Coordinate effectively with project managers, supervisors, customers, and other trades to ensure project success. • Demonstrate a commitment to quality workmanship by completing installations correctly the first time without shortcuts. Required Qualifications

• Experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling systems. • Strong understanding of structured cabling infrastructure and industry best practices. • Proficiency with Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optic, and coaxial cable installations. • Knowledge of TIA/EIA 568B termination standards. • Experience using Fluke testers and cable certification equipment. • Ability to install and work with cable tray, ladder rack, j-hooks, and support infrastructure. • Experience supporting CCTV, access control, and other low voltage technologies. • Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, floor plans, and installation layouts. • Ability to lift materials, work at heights, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday. Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 Certification. • Scissor Lift Certification. • Confined Space Certification or Training. • Fiber optic splicing and testing experience. • Fire alarm installation experience. • Experience on semiconductor, data center, manufacturing, industrial, or other high-tech construction projects. • BICSI certifications are a plus. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
