About this role

Job Title: AssemblerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling pump assemblies at an individual workbench using small hand tools and torque wrenches. You follow detailed work orders and read blueprints to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently, working independently within a structured industrial environment.Pay $18-$20/Hour Responsibilities

• Assemble pump assemblies according to work orders, blueprints, and established procedures. • Use small hand tools, torque wrenches, and other equipment to assemble parts and components accurately. • Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions to ensure correct assembly. • Work independently at a bench to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes. • Inspect parts and completed assemblies to verify quality and adherence to specifications. • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout the assembly process to prevent errors and rework. • Handle and organize parts, components, and tools in a clean and efficient work area. • Lift and move materials and assemblies weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment in industrial work cells. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors as needed to resolve assembly issues or clarify instructions. Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. • Proficiency using hand tools, including torque wrenches, for mechanical assembly work. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how parts and components fit and function together. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and high-quality output. • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties. • Comfort working independently at a bench while meeting production and quality expectations. • Basic electrical understanding related to assembly work (as applicable to pump assemblies). Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with pump assemblies or similar mechanical equipment. • Familiarity with industrial manufacturing environments and small work cell setups. • Ability to organize work, manage time effectively, and follow standardized processes. • Commitment to safety practices and proper use of tools and equipment. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient workflow in a manufacturing setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
