Job Title: Sit Down Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Material Handler in the Distribution Department. You will play a crucial role in unloading, moving, and managing materials, products, and inventory within the facility using forklifts and other powered equipment. This position involves moving goods to and from storage areas and loading docks. Responsibilities • Operate forklifts and other powered equipment to move materials within the facility. • Unload and load goods at docks and storage areas. • Perform heavy lifting throughout the day, handling pallets that can reach up to 8 feet tall. • Work in various departments as needed, including order pulling, wrapping pallets, and loading docks. • Participate in local and out-of-state deliveries. • Support a team-oriented environment where everyone helps each other. Essential Skills • Experience in production, general labor, inspection, and packaging. • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks. • Experience with order pulling and warehouse operations. • Familiarity with tools such as manual pallet jacks, hand tools, and tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Knowledge of RF scanners is preferred. • Experience in construction, machine operation, and cleanroom environments is a plus. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often changing environment. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
