• Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in mechanical or electrical fields. • 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls. • 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment. • 2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures. • 1 year of experience in metal and wood fabrication. • 1 year of experience reading and applying blueprints and electrical schematics. • 1 year of experience working with electrical and electronic principles in an industrial environment. • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM and applicable safety regulations. • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and maintenance history. • Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance. • Ability to troubleshoot basic input and output functions on automated equipment. • Project management experience, including coordinating small maintenance or improvement projects. • Experience with industrial maintenance, including hand tools, power tools, conveyor systems, and general equipment maintenance. • Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical domains. • Ability to safely handle and move items up to 50 pounds. You work on-site in an industrial setting that may involve small spaces, dust, fumes or odors, hot and cold temperatures both inside and outside, noise, vibration, wet or uneven surfaces, and standing on concrete for long periods. Shifts can last up to 12 hours, and schedules may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The work requires frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, walking, and the use of hand and power tools. You regularly lift parts and tools averaging around 20 pounds and occasionally up to 49 pounds. The environment is safety-focused, and you use appropriate personal protective equipment while working with mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, FL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
