• Operate machinery as per the operating instructions and ensure efficient production processes. • Perform machine setups (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle. • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed) to meet quality and efficiency standards. • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines and ensure continuous supply without interruptions. • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. • Test the operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running. • Maintain activity logs and report on daily production volumes and quality. • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation and perform basic repairs and maintenance when necessary. • Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment. • Always adhere to safety guidelines and company regulations. • Communicate any machine malfunctions or irregularities to the immediate supervisor for timely resolution. • Monitor and manage inventory of materials and parts needed for machine operation. • Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes. • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with machine technology and operation techniques. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase production efficiency. • Have experience with measuring tools Essential Skills
• Manufacturing experience • Ability to read a tape measure • Machine operation and monitoring skills • Ability to read blueprints and schematics • Experience with CNC operation and press brake • Understanding of production procedures • Adherence to health and safety regulations • Analytical skills and attention to detail • Teamwork and communication skills • Ability to follow written and oral instructions • Familiarity with control operations and automated equipment • Basic computer and mathematical skills • Proven experience as a machine operator Additional Skills & Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. • At least one year of experience in a Machine Shop. • Preference for candidates with experience in a fabrication machine shop. • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, if required. • Willingness to undergo on-the-job training. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
