Job Title: General Construction/Warehouse LaborerJob DescriptionThis role supports daily operations in an industrial warehouse environment by maintaining a clean, safe facility and performing a variety of general labor tasks. You will help keep the plant organized, assist with material handling and inventory activities, and contribute to a smooth flow of work throughout the site. Responsibilities • Perform general plant and warehouse clean-up to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. • Assist with inventory counting and basic material tracking to support accurate stock control. • Load and unload trucks manually and with forklift assistance, following proper handling procedures. • Move, stage, and handle barrels and other industrial materials safely throughout the facility. • Support a wide range of general labor tasks such as production support, packaging, cleaning, and painting as directed by supervisors. • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and guidelines at all times. • Work effectively within a team, communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors, and respond promptly to instructions. • Manage time and tasks efficiently to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills • Ability to perform manual labor in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse setting, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and conditions. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance. • Attention to cleanliness and organization within the plant and warehouse. • Basic inventory and counting skills to assist with material tracking. • Safe material handling skills, particularly with barrels and industrial materials. • Commitment to following safety procedures, PPE requirements, and facility guidelines. • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with others. • Time management and task prioritization abilities to handle multiple duties during a shift. • Steel-toe boots required for safety in the warehouse environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting (preferred but not required). • Willingness to learn forklift operation and other material handling equipment if needed. • Adaptability and comfort working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. • Experience in general labor, production support, packaging, cleaning, or painting is a plus. • No formal certifications or medical tests required for this position. Steel-toe boots are required as part of the safety dress code, and you will use appropriate personal protective equipment while following established safety procedures. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
