Job Title: Sit-down/Stand up forklift operatorJob DescriptionThe Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, loading, and unloading of products, packaging materials, and warehouse inventory throughout the facility. This role supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.Responsibilities
• Ability to operate both stand up and sit down forklifts to move products and materials. • Load and unload products from vehicles using forklifts. • Perform inventory cycle counts and use RF scanners. • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials for production and shipping. • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. • Lift pallets and bags up to 40 feet in the air for storage and retrieval. • Work in cold storage environments with temperatures around 32 degrees. • Proven forklift experience, including stand up and sit down forklifts. • Experience with shipping and receiving operations. • Knowledge of inventory management, cycle counts, and RF scanners. • Experience with racking systems and cold storage. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.25 - $21.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
