Job Title: PTFE Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThe PTFE Machine Operator sets up, runs, and troubleshoots extrusion and related production equipment in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role focuses on producing high-quality parts to specification by operating programmable and automated machinery, performing precise measurements, and maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality, and company procedures.Responsibilities

• Set up and size extrusion lines according to production specifications and standard operating procedures. • Set up, run, and troubleshoot downstream equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production flow. • Set up, run, and troubleshoot programmable and automated production and measurement equipment. • Use measuring tools, including tape measures and other inspection instruments, to verify that finished pieces meet required specifications. • Identify non-conforming product, implement appropriate corrective actions, and report issues to the immediate supervisor. • Perform quality control activities, including inspection, labeling, and packaging of finished products. • Read and interpret blueprints and production documentation to ensure accurate machine setup and product output. • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, including cleanroom and manufacturing areas, in accordance with GMP and SOP requirements. • Comply with all safety standards, including use of required personal protective equipment such as steel-toe footwear. • Follow company guidelines, GMP, and SOPs to ensure consistent quality and regulatory compliance. • Monitor machinery and production processes, perform basic mechanical adjustments, and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed. • Support production goals by working efficiently, minimizing downtime, and communicating issues promptly. • Perform assembly-related tasks as needed to support the manufacturing process. • Carry out other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations. Essential Skills

• 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Hands-on machine operation experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Experience with extrusion processes and operating extrusion lines. • Ability to use measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify dimensions and specifications. • Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) in a production setting. • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work with machinery and mechanical systems. • Basic troubleshooting skills for production and mechanical equipment. • Ability to perform inspection and quality control tasks to ensure product conformity. • Experience with labeling and packaging in a manufacturing or production environment. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documentation. • Comfort working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as an assembly worker or in assembly-related tasks. • Experience as an automotive technician or similar mechanically focused role. • Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new machinery and processes quickly. • Prior experience in production environments with troubleshooting responsibilities. • Familiarity with inspection processes and quality control methodologies. • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work within regulated environments such as GMP facilities. The work involves standing, moving between machines, and handling materials in a regulated, safety-conscious setting. Steel-toe footwear is required as part of the dress code, and employees must follow cleanroom and GMP protocols, including maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. The role follows a structured A Shift schedule of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., supporting continuous manufacturing operations in a modern production facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Easton, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
