Job Title: CNC MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to setup and operate CNC mills and lathes. Qualified candidates should have the following experience:Responsibilities
• Operate CNC mills and lathes. • Set up machines by mounting and aligning workpieces, fixtures, and tooling. • Program edit CNC software packages. • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. • Machine parts to ±0.005” thickness and ±0.010” end-of-part. • Monitor machine operations. • Inspect completed work using measurement tools. • Perform routine operator-level preventive maintenance on CNC machines. Essential Skills
• 2+ years of experience working with CNC machines. • Experience working with 3 and 5 axis machines. • Exposure to close tolerance work, typically on the order of a few thousandths of an inch. • Use of calipers or micrometers. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. • English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company's operating procedures and policies. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Joppa, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $66560.00/yr.
