Silgan Containers is seeking a Production Planner to join our manufacturing team in Maxton, NC. In this role, you will coordinate production schedules, manage inventory levels, analyze forecasts, and ensure materials are available to support customer demand in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and long-range production schedules
Analyze sales forecasts and customer demand to ensure production plans align with business needs
Monitor inventory levels and manage materials to support Just-in-Time manufacturing operations
Coordinate with corporate planning, customer service, shipping, and plant leadership to meet customer requirements
Order and track raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production
Monitor production capacity and adjust schedules based on operational requirements
Prepare reports related to forecasts, production volumes, inventory, line loading, and customer demand
Support budgeting, forecasting, inventory analysis, and monthly reporting activities
Help drive inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and inventory control initiatives
Serve as a key link between production, supply chain, and customer fulfillment activities
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: What We Need From You:
High school diploma or GED required; additional education in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field is a plus
Production planning, scheduling, inventory control, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience using forecasting data, production schedules, and inventory management processes
