Has a substantial understanding of the job while working on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgement in resolving issues or making recommendations. Focus is on moderately difficult tasks, using substantial understanding of standard operating procedure. Supports the overall team.

Responsibilities

Supports the team with controls stock inventory and oversees the accuracy of documentation

Works with internal/external customers and other departments to ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner

Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations

Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments

Documentation & System Updates

Ensures accuracy of supporting documentation

Uses system tools to maintain accurate records, and escalates when queries arise

Enters all goods received in the stock inventory system, updates the database, and correlates the items received to ensure order requirements are fulfilled

Supports the team by mentoring junior team members with moderately difficult orders where judgement and recommendations may be required

Shipping & Receiving

Receives goods delivered to the Data Center either directly or following acceptance by security, within a moderate scope

Assists in daily warehouse duties, satisfying internal customers’ requirements, and ensuring accuracy of shipments

Ensures items are dispatched and coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination; obtains sign-off for receipt

Uses Shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipments

Problem Solving

Contacts suppliers Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and internal customers on stock and projected delivery times for special orders

Inventory Management

Allocations of stock inventory to internal customers, scheduling materials to be moved to and from Data Center’s; coordinates inventory transfers with related departments. May include applying proper safety procedures related to hazardous materials

Maintains minimum/maximum stock for projects and operations teams

Assists with monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) software using Equinix database

Picks and correlates items ordered and stores them in the relevant Data Center bins for the customers for standard orders

Inform recipients of any shortfall's in quantities and backorder times

Hazardous Materials

Handles hazardous materials independently

Ensures proper storage of hazardous materials

Follows and complies with hazardous materials through moderate protocols, as described by regional regulatory bodies

Equipment

Organizes stored and/or abandoned equipment and maintains inventory of equipment

Uses the aging shipment business processes/tools for shipments over 5 days 14 days, 30 days and 90 days

Liaises with the Customer Service Associate (CSA) team on these issues and implements solutions

Tracks "in use" and or "highly available" software licenses

Uses software lifecycle for software license management

Uses historical data and systems to renew or solve moderate renewal issues for software licensing

Data Center Support

Assists with delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages

When requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request, assists with packing customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the Data Center

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Qualifications

Typical Degree & Years of Experience

Typically requires a high school diploma and 2-4 years of equivalent work experience

Regional hazardous materials certification preferred

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - SE4 Seattle : 51,000 - 76,600 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
