We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a leading manufacturer in their Marysville, OH site. This role will support capital and construction projects. Description
• Understand procurement requirements, commercial objectives, supplier qualification requirements, sourcing schedules, and bid package information necessary to support sourcing activities. • Support bundling strategy, bid timing, bidder list development, supplier market considerations, and RFQ/RFP approach using Company templates and approval requirements. • Coordinate pre-bid questions, addenda, site walk coordination, proposal deadlines, clarifications, response tracking, and supplier communication logs. • Review proposals for completeness, exceptions, inclusions/exclusions, alternates, unit rates, allowances, clarifications, escalation language, change order rates, and cost drivers. • Prepare bid comparison matrices, commercial evaluation summaries, supplier risk summaries, negotiation documentation, and award recommendation support. • Coordinate with Company's legal/contract resources, support PO, amendment, change order, and contract documentation, and document decision rationale and unresolved risks. • Track open purchasing actions, stakeholder inputs, supplier responses, legal/commercial issues, approvals, decision needs, and procurement deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Industrial, manufacturing, automotive, battery, semiconductor, utility, heavy industrial, or comparable capital project environments. • Reviewing construction estimates, GMP proposals, allowances, contingencies, change order pricing, supplier claims, and schedule impact statements. • SAP, Ariba, eSourcing, contract management, or equivalent procurement system experience. • Comfort developing bid matrices, commercial summaries, sourcing trackers, issue logs, change order support, and documentation repositories Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Marysville, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
