Job Title: Operations Processor (Orders)Job DescriptionThe Operations Processor (Orders) is responsible for the accurate and timely creation, processing, and maintenance of customer contracts, Purchase Orders (POs), and Sales Orders (SOs). This role supports daily business operations by ensuring orders are processed efficiently, documentation is maintained accurately, and communication with internal teams and customers is professional and responsive. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering a high level of accuracy and customer service. Responsibilities • Create, review, and issue customer contracts in accordance with established company procedures. • Accurately create and process Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) within required timelines. • Review orders and contracts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before processing. • Maintain organized digital and physical records of all contracts, purchase orders, and sales orders. • Process order revisions, updates, cancellations, and corrections as needed throughout the order lifecycle. • Ensure all assigned daily tasks are completed accurately and within established deadlines. • Communicate professionally with customers and internal departments via email, Microsoft Teams, and telephone to support order-related activities. • Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, Logistics, Accounting, and other departments to resolve order-related issues promptly. • Identify discrepancies in orders or documentation, investigate issues, and implement appropriate solutions while maintaining excellent customer service. • Maintain accurate documentation and system records for all transactions and order activities. • Prioritize multiple assignments while consistently meeting productivity, quality, and accuracy expectations. • Perform additional operational or administrative duties as assigned to support overall business operations. • Support invoice processing and accounts payable activities related to orders, as needed. • Assist with logistics and transport coordination related to order processing when required. Essential Skills • Proven experience with data entry, including high-volume and detailed order or contract processing. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including accurate data entry and basic spreadsheet functions. • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for professional email communication and calendar management. • Experience using Microsoft Office applications to support daily operations and documentation. • Ability to use ERP systems for order entry, tracking, and documentation maintenance. • Strong 10-key typing skills for accurate and efficient numeric data entry. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • Professional written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams. • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in orders, documentation, or system records. • At least 1 year of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or the logistics industry is preferred but highly relevant to this role. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with Oracle ERP is a strong plus. • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. • Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics (minimum 1 year) is preferred and beneficial for understanding order and transport processes. • Comfort working with invoice processing and accounts payable tasks related to orders. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting. • Capability to perform well in working interviews and effectively demonstrate skills and experience in a practical setting. Work EnvironmentThis role is based on-site in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, and operates in a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team of approximately 5–10 people in an office environment that relies heavily on digital tools and systems, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and ERP platforms. The position involves consistent use of computers and office equipment for data entry, documentation, and communication. The organization offers a structured benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with a 4% match after six months of employment, eligibility for annual cost-of-living and/or merit bonuses after 12 months, and 13 days of paid time off initially, which increases by 40 hours after the third anniversary. Candidates may be invited to participate in a working interview to directly showcase their skills and experience, as well as to complete an online assessment as part of the selection process. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
