Maintenance Technician Location: Vineyard, UT (Utah County)Shifts Available:
• First Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM • Second Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM Starting Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience Direct Hire Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing team in Vineyard, Utah. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys solving problems, minimizing downtime, and supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Work On
• Production and packaging equipment • Conveyor systems • Motors and gearboxes • Pumps and mechanical assemblies • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems • Sensors and electrical controls • Automated manufacturing equipment Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment. • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. • Diagnose equipment failures and respond quickly to minimize production downtime. • Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, sensors, and related production equipment. • Conduct routine inspections and identify opportunities for equipment improvement. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. • Collaborate with production personnel to maximize equipment performance and reliability. • Follow all company safety, quality, and GMP standards. Required Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role within a manufacturing environment. • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, sensors, and machine controls. • Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. • Experience performing preventive maintenance and equipment repairs. • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an active manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience within food manufacturing, dietary supplement manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or packaging environments. • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment. • Experience with conveyor systems and automated production lines. • Welding or fabrication experience. • Experience using a CMMS or maintenance tracking system.
