Job Title: Maintenance ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for a fast-paced Distribution Center. This is a 1st shift position (7am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday) with an emphasis on hands-on work, team management, and coordination with other departments. You will be responsible for providing mechanical and electrical support, troubleshooting automated material handling systems in a 700,000 sq. ft. facility. Responsibilities • Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, including slat shoe sorters, pop-up diverts, accumulation conveyor, belt conveyor, and motorized roller conveyor (MDR). • Lead and manage a team of 10+ technicians, including distributing work orders, following up on completion, and evaluating performance. • Set up and execute Root Cause Analysis on recurring issues to identify and resolve main problems. • Create procedures and actively track equipment uptime and downtime. • Develop and manage a preventative maintenance (PM) schedule for all facility equipment. • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders, spare parts inventory, and maintenance scheduling. • Communicate effectively with team members and operational partners, estimating repair times and addressing training needs. • Create SOP documents and reference materials for equipment issue resolution and repair procedures. Essential Skills • 5+ years of hands-on leadership experience in maintenance management. • Strong troubleshooting skills in conveyor systems and maintenance management. • Experience with Intelligrated conveyor systems and Warehouse Control/Execution Systems. • Proficiency in CMMS, including Maintenance Connection. • Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Certified 5S experience is preferred. • Sortation and shrink tunnel knowledge and troubleshooting are advantageous. • PLC knowledge is a plus. • Familiarity with hand/power tools, precision alignment, rigging, welding, and blueprint reading. The role involves lifting, walking, pushing/pulling, crawling, twisting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and standing for long periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
