About this role

Job Title: Installation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Installation Technician to join our team in Jessup, MD. This full-time position involves working with public safety vehicles to perform electronic upgrades and retrofits, including LED lighting, media/video systems, and custom technology installations. Responsibilities

• Install vehicle equipment and perform diagnostics/repairs either in the shop or at customer locations. • Follow wiring diagrams and assembly instructions for light bars, in-car video, computer systems, canine units, and other electronic equipment. • Conduct basic programming of installed equipment, test its full functionality, and troubleshoot as needed. • Demonstrate product functionality and installation to customers to ensure proper placement and programming. • Collaborate with the Sales team and management to ensure accurate customer quotes and stay informed on installation/service bulletins. • Maintain an organized and clean working environment in the shop. Essential Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent • 2+ years of experience in aftermarket vehicle enhancement and installation • Intermediate knowledge of automotive electrical systems and vehicle wiring • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history • Ability to operate power and hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and wire strippers • Own a set of tools Additional Skills & Qualifications

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jessup, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
