Job Title: Facilities TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, basic electrical work, painting, patching, and any HVAC, welding, or preventive maintenance knowledge. Responsibilities • Perform plumbing tasks and repairs. • Conduct basic electrical maintenance and repairs. • Carry out painting and patching work. • Utilize HVAC knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting. • Engage in welding activities as needed. • Execute preventive maintenance tasks. • Handle carpentry and drywall repairs. • Use hand tools and power tools efficiently. • Maintain lighting fixtures and address any issues. • Keep the facility clean and well-maintained. Essential Skills • Experience in facilities maintenance. • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. • Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems. • Ability to perform electrical repairs. • Familiarity with preventive maintenance techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Entry-level candidates with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. • Welding experience is a plus. • Experience in painting and drywall repairs is beneficial. This role includes an on-call schedule in the future, with shifts from Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday during after-hours, on a rotating weekly basis. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
